It comes as no surprise that Virat Kohli is the apple of the public eye. Ahead of the third ODI between India vs England, set to be played in Ahmedabad, one interesting sight left social media wondering when the star Indian batter was making his trip for the final fixture of the series.
In a video that has gone viral on X (formerly known as Twitter), Kohli can be seen arriving at the airport. The surprising thing is that Kohli was seen making his way to a group of fans where he was seen giving a hug to an unknown woman.
The video has garnered an interesting reaction from the fans who remain curious as to who she is and how she is related to Kohli as well.
Several fans were wondering as to who the lady was with many replying to the post asking the same.
Kohli will have a lot to prove in the final ODI in Ahmedabad. The icon is just one big knock away from reaching the 14,000 ODI runs milestone and will also be eager to get back to his best form as India heads to the Champions Trophy 2025.
Both him and the skipper, Rohit Sharma were under the spotlight with their lack of runs since the T20 World Cup 2024. The recent games saw India being whitewashed on home soil against New Zealand in the Test series while they also went on to lose the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series during their tour of Australia as well.
Rohit had a big knock to his name when he scored a blistering 119 off 90 deliveries in the 2nd ODI held at Cuttack. Kohli will also look to follow suit with a big knock under his name as well.
With the series already won, India will hope to make it a clean sweep against England and hope to go into the tournament in high spirits despite the possible absence of Jasprit Bumrah.
