A young man was spotted watching an Indian Premier League game while sitting on the stands of a stadium during a Pakistan Super League match, the video of which has gone immensely viral on social media, as comparisons between IPL and PSL keep doing the rounds.
The fan was seen checking the proceedings of a Delhi Capitals match on his mobile while sitting at the stadium where a Pakistan Super League game was going on.
The clip emerged just days after Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali said that the viewership of the Pakistan Super League will increase if the quality of cricket improves and that fans would not hesitate to leave the Indian Premier League in favour of PSL.

“Fans watch the tournament where there’s good cricket with entertainment. If we play well in the PSL, viewers will leave the IPL to watch us,” Hasan had said ahead of the tournament’s season opener.
Pakistan Super League has already completed nine matches in 2025 till now, with each of the six teams having played three games each.
Recently, England batter Sam Billings lauded IPL as the premier T20 tournament in the world, placing it above all other franchise tournaments, including the PSL.
“You want me to say something silly? It’s hard to look past the IPL as the premier competition in the world; it’s very obvious, every other competition is just behind. In England (T20 Blast and The Hundred), we are trying to do the same as PSL, as the second-best competition in the world,” Billings said during a press conference.
The star England batter, who went unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction, last played in IPL 2022, representing the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Billings insisted that it is hard to compare leagues since the conditions are different everywhere.
“I think it’s hard to compare. Each competition brings out different challenges. I am grateful that I get to travel the world and play cricket, and bring a smile to people. I wouldn’t trade this job for anything,” Billings said.
