Steve Smith has been appointed as Australia’s captain for the eight-team ICC tournament, which will be played from February 19 to March 9 across three venues in Pakistan and one in Dubai.

Star middle-order batter Steve Smith will lead the Australian men’s cricket team in the 2025 edition of ICC Champions Trophy which is set to be played from February 19 to March 9 across three venues in Pakistan and one in Dubai. Smith was appointed as Australia’s captain on Wednesday (February 12) after Pat Cummins was ruled out of the eight-team tournament last week.
