Shubman Gill-led India A team will face Abhimanyu Easwaran’s India B in the first match of Duleep Trophy 2024. The match between India A and India B is scheduled to take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and will start on Thursday (September 5). Apart from Gill, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Shivam Dube, and Tilak Varma will be key batters for the India A team, whereas India B has the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Sarfaraz Khan, and his young brother Musheer in its ranks.
As far as the bowling is concerned, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan will be key pacers for the India A team, and Kuldeep Yadav will lead the spin attack. For India B, in the absence of Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar and R Sai Kishore will play as two spin bowling all-rounders.
