It’s been widely reported that the BCCI has sacked India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar and fielding coach T Dilip.

Amidst multiple reports of India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar’s contract being terminated, the BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia has indicated the board is set to make changes without getting into the details.
On Thursday, various media outlets citing BCCI sources reported that the Nayar has been sacked eight months after being appointed to the role. Alongside Nayar, fielding coach T Dilip and strength and conditioning trainer Soham Desai have also been let go of.
“Certain things are being finalised. You will receive a press note from BCCI in some days,” Saikia was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
While no replacements have been named, the trio has been informed of the development.
“Nayar, Dilip and Soham have been informed about it last week. The Indian board will not have any new appointee as of now,” The Indian Express quoted a source as saying.
