After the conclusion of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Virat Kohli is currently enjoying some quality time away from competitive cricket. As Team India prepares to take on England in T20Is, Kohli is spending off-time with his family. Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, headed to Alibaug together on Sunday. In 2023, reportedly, Kohli had spent Rs 6 crore on a 2,000 sq ft villa in Avas Living in Alibaug. The star couple had also reportedly bought a lavish farmhouse in Alibaug, spending Rs 19.24 crore. Kohli was recently spotted at the Alibaug jetty. Wearing a white oversized t-shirt, Kohli can be seen embarking on a boat at the Alibaug jetty.

On Sunday, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen at the Gateway of India in Mumbai while making their way to the jetty from their car. Kohli donned an all-black ensemble and interacted with the paparazzi with a quick hello. The duo, along with their children Vamika and Akaay, had recently paid a visit to Premanand Govind Sharan Maharaj. Kohli and Anushka were seen greeting the Maharaj with folded hands while sitting on the floor. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in 2017. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika, in January 2021 and a baby boy, Akaay, in February 2024.
In international cricket, Virat Kohli is next expected to be seen in action in the ODI series against England. The ODI series against England will be Kohli’s last opportunity to regain his form before heading to Dubai for the Champions Trophy.
Virat Kohli’s form across all three formats in international cricket will be of concern for the team management ahead of the Champions Trophy. In his last 10 Tests, Kohli has scored 380 runs. Last year, Kohli took part in three ODIs and scored just 58 runs. The 36-year-old announced his retirement from T20Is following India’s T20 World Cup triumph in 2024.
The five-match T20I series between India and England is scheduled to start on January 22. Following the conclusion of the T20Is, the two teams will play a three-match ODI series in February.
