Batting superstar Virat Kohli created history on Sunday (November 24) by breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most Test 100s by an Indian batter in Australia. Kohli completed his 30th Test century during the third session of the third day’s play of the ongoing first Test of 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Optus Stadium in Perth.
Sachin scored six Test centuries in Australia during his playing days, whereas Kohli now has seven Test centuries to his name in 14 matches.

With his seventh century, Kohli has also equalled Ricky Ponting’s record of most 100s in Test matches played between India and Australia in Australia.
