India vs Pakistan matches have always been fan favourites and before another edition, we take a look at the bowlers who have picked the most wickets in ODIs between the two sides.

The entire cricketing world is all set to witness another edition of the greatest rivalry in sport, India vs Pakistan. The neighbours, and arch rivals, will take on each other in the fifth match of the ongoing Champions Trophy on Sunday, February 23 in Dubai.
While India are coming off a statement six-wicket win against Bangladesh, Pakistan were beaten by New Zealand in the tournament’s opening match by 60 runs at home in Karachi.
Ahead of the high-voltage game, we take a look at some of the eminent bowlers from both sides of the border, who have picked the most wickets in India vs Pakistan ODIs:
Wasim Akram: Not an Indian, but Pakistan’s Wasim Akram is the highest wicket-taker in India vs Pakistan ODIs. The legendary pacer has picked 60 wickets in the 48 ODIs that he has played against India, at an impressive economy of 3.73.
Saqlain Mushtaq: Former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq is second on the list of highest wicket-takers in India vs Pakistan ODIs. He picked 57 wickets in the 36 ODIs that he played against India, at an average of 24.38.
Aaqib Javed: Former Pakistan medium-pacer Aaqib Javed, who is the interim head coach of the current team, is third on the list of highest wicket-takers in India vs Pakistan ODIs. He picked 54 wickets in the 39 ODIs that he played against India, with a best haul of 7/37, in the final of the 1991 Wills Trophy.
Anil Kumble: Former India legspinner Anil Kumble is fourth on the list of highest wicket-takers in India vs Pakistan ODIs. He picked the same number of wickets as Javed, i.e. 54 but in 34 ODIs that he played against Pakistan, at an impressive economy of 4.29.
Javagal Srinath: Former India medium-pacer Javagal Srinath is fifth on the list of highest wicket-takers in India vs Pakistan ODIs. He picked the same number of wickets as Javed and Kumble, i.e. 54 but in 36 ODIs that he played against Pakistan, with a best haul of 4/49 in the 2000 Carlton and United Series.
Among the current crop of bowlers between the two nations, only Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav make it to the list. While Jadeja has picked 12 wickets in as many matches against Pakistan, Kuldeep has bagged the same number of wickets but in just six games, at an impressive economy of 3.77.
