As both Rizwan and Naseem discussed the incident, Zampa also invited himself into the conversation, as he wittily taunted Rizwan to take a review and find out whether he caught Zampa out.
Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan shared a hilarious encounter with Australia’s Adam Zampa on the field, asking him whether they should a review to possibly dismiss the batter during the second ODI on Friday.
PAK won the toss and sent Australia in on a well-grassed, bouncy pitch.
In perfect conditions, Rauf’s pace caused all sorts of problems, with Steve Smith’s 35 the top score as the hosts succumbed in the 35th over.
Wicketkeeper Rizwan took six catches, and whilst he believed he had taken his seventh for the day, a hilarious moment entailed.
With Australia down nine wickets for a mere 153 runs, spinner Adam Zampa was on strike facing off against Naseem Shah’s blistering pace.
Naseem delivered a fiery bouncer, that zipped right past Zampa’s bat and gloves, onto Rizwan;s gloves behind the stumps, as the Aussie tried to pull one away towards the leg-side.
This would be followed by a shaky appeal from Naseem who believed that the ball caught contact with Zampa in some way, but was left unsure as the call was dismissed by the umpire. So, he walked up to his skipper Rizwan behind the stumps to deliberate the next course of action.

Zampa’s presence of mind to toy with the Pakistan players would end up working in his favour, as upon the review being taken, it would be seen that the ball zipped away from both Zampa’s bat and gloves, leading Pakistan to lose their review.
Despite the momentary win for the Aussie spinner, Rizwan would be the one to have the last laugh, as Pakistan would bowl out the Australians for a meagre 163 runs.
Rauf collected only his second ODI five-wicket haul by once more teaming with Rizwan to remove Pat Cummins (13).
