The visitors kicked off the series on a stunning note securing a big 295-run win in the Perth Test. Following the triumph, the Indian players were involved in a warm-up game against the Australian Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra.
Before leaving for Adelaide for the second Test, the touring party was in a jovial mood while interacting with fans.

India geared up for their day-night Test in Adelaide by facing a PM’s XI in a two-day practice match which they won by six wickets. The opening day of the pink-ball match was washed out due to rain.
The two-day game had to be reduced to 46-over per side.
Rohit rued the fact that the team did not get a chance to play full two days against at the Manuka Oval.
“Yeah, it was fantastic. We got what we wanted as a group. But we were a little unlucky that we didn’t get the whole game. It was washed out the other day. But whatever time we got, we tried to make the most of it, and we got pretty much out of what we had in front of us,” said Rohit who skipped the Perth Test due to the birth of his second child.
Rohit also shared some positive words for the fans who turned up for the warm-up match. “It’s absolutely fantastic. You know, we love coming to Australia, and we love watching our fans come and support us. You know, there has never been a time where we’ve come here and, you know, the guys have not turned up for us. So it’s always nice to see people coming and supporting us. India,” he added.
India will now be aiming to continue their winning momentum and clinch another victory in Adelaide with the contest slated to start on December 6.
