Starc was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 11.75 crore at the last month’s mega auction held in Jeddah. It was a steep pay-cut for the Aussie star who commanded a record Rs 24.75 crore at the mini auction last year when KKR secured his services.
Before Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant overtook him, Starc was the costliest player bought in the history of IPL auctions.
