The video captured Pandya arriving with multiple security guards and police officials around him. The star allrounder was rocking a Mumbai Indians polo shirt and light-coloured jeans.
Pandya paired his threads with white sneakers and sunglasses.
Mumbai Indians are on the ascendancy after a slow start to their 2025 IPL campaign. Pandya missed the season opener but has competed in all of MI’s last seven matches.
The five-time winners sit in sixth place on the table with four wins and four losses in eight games.
They recently beat their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings by nine wickets on April 20. Rohit Sharma showcased his batting prowess, scoring 76 runs in 45 deliveries during the chase.
Pandya then addressed concerns around Rohit’s form in the post-match presentation ceremony.
“You don’t have to worry about Rohit’s form. He’s going to come good like this. We knew when he came good, the opposition would be out,” he said.
“People are stepping up. We have been sticking to basics. Percentage of cricket is high, we are not trying magical stuff and sticking to simple cricket. Knew they were behind the game and wanted to keep it tight. The fast bowlers went for runs and we knew 175 was below par. We were not far from a good game. We had to figure out about closing the couple of balls that were costing us games,” he added.
Mumbai Indians will hope to fulfil their target of making the IPL’s playoff stage in 2025. A victory against Pat Cummins’ Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday will help them move up the table.
