The 31-year-old is representing the Men in Blue in the 2025 Champions Trophy in Dubai. He will next be featured in India’s third group game at the ICC event against New Zealand on Monday, March 3.
Days ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Pandya shared a new video on Instagram in which he is rocking an all-black outfit. In the clip, the all-rounder is seen walking in the direction of the camera, dressed in a leather coat. He paired the coat with a black tank top, boots and leather pants.
Following India’s massive victory over arch-rivals Pakistan in the Champions Trophy, Pandya took some time off from the sport as his side wasn’t scheduled to play again until the next week. The Indian all-rounder shared a post on Instagram where he was seen enjoying himself at a beach.
In the photographs, Pandya was rocking a light-coloured hat with a pair of peach shorts. He paired his outfit with brown sunglasses and dark blue flip-flops.
Pandya contributed massively on the bowling front during India’s blockbuster clash with Pakistan in the 2025 Champions Trophy. He secured two key wickets in the match, dismissing Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel. Pandya managed to get the edge of Babar’s bat outside the off-stump line, which carried to the wicketkeeper.
He next sent Shakeel packing for 62 runs, helping India curb Pakistan at 241. In the second innings, he scored eight runs before losing his wicket to Shaheen Shah Afridi. Pandya’s dismissal, however, couldn’t stop India’s momentum. Virat Kohli completed his 51st ODI ton to seal a six-wicket win for the Rohit Sharma-led side.
Pandya will also captain the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2025 season after a forgettable campaign last year. The all-rounder will miss his franchise’s opening clash after picking up a one-match suspension due to a slow over-rate. For now, Pandya will be focused on putting up several more impactful performances to secure India’s first Champions Trophy crown since the 2013 edition.
