Jasprit Bumrah and NFL star Micah Parsons had a fun-filled game of cricket in Dallas.

Ace Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s fun cricket session with National Football League (NFL) star Micah Parsons has delighted fans on the internet. Bumrah and Parsons had met earlier this year during the T20 World Cup. Before India’s match against co-hosts USA, Bumrah had a light-hearted interaction with the Dallas Cowboys linebacker. Months after that meeting, the NFL’s official Instagram account shared a video of Parsons facing the Indian speedster on the pitch. “Micah Parsons tried getting a hit off one of the fastest bowlers in cricket, Jasprit Bumrah,” read the post.
Micah Parsons was fully kitted with a helmet, batting pads and batting gloves as he faced Jasprit Bumrah. Moments later, the Indian fast bowler sent a perfect delivery towards the middle stump, catching the NFL star by surprise. After the dismissal, Parsons said, “Yo! hold up. This legit might be harder than baseball. Let me really lock in, ’cause I lost track of where the ball was.” Parsons, eventually, made contact with the ball in the second delivery after which he threw his bat in excitement and completed a single. Bumrah reminded him that it was just one run but Parsons hilariously suggested it was all he needed and the game was over.
Several fans reacted to the video. One of them suggested that Jasprit Bumrah had intentionally slowed down for Micah Parsons. He wrote, “Bro celebrated against 1 per cent Bumrah.”
This person added, “The happy scream! I know everyone has been there before.”
Another wrote, “Greatest bowler of country, bomb bomb Bumrah.”
One jokingly said, “It’s so easy to face Boomrah…Without a ball.”
“I’ve seen enough. US Men’s Cricket, sign this man for international competition,” observed another social media user.
Micah Parsons and Jasprit Bumrah met in June and exchanged jerseys during their fun cricket session. Following the cricket session, Bumrah was also pictured enjoying a game of American Football with the Parsons. NFL shared those snaps on Instagram and wrote, “Going for 6! Micah Parsons and cricket superstar Jasprit Bumrah met up to play each other’s sports.”
Jasprit Bumrah is currently representing India in the ongoing Test series against New Zealand at home. Team India is currently 0-1 down following an eight-wicket loss in the Test series opener played in Bengaluru.
