Starc will be leading Australia’s fast-bowling attack in the upcoming five-match Test battle against India. Ahead of the Perth Test, he was spotted training in nets with the red ball. During one moment, the Aussie pacer was seen delivering a rocket towards the middle stump to catch the batter off-guard. The official account of the Australia Men’s Cricket Team has now shared a video of the precise delivery on Instagram. “Starcy’s got the red ball and bails are going flying,” the post read.
The video began with Mitchell Starc taking his signature run-up. He was rocking a blue-coloured Australia training kit as he delivered the superfast ball. The batter didn’t even have the time to react as the ball took the bails off the stumps. Following the wicket, a cheeky grin was visible on the Australia speedster’s face.
