In the second innings, Pant completed a terrific catch to dismiss Steven Smith. The incident occurred on the fourth ball of the 25th over bowled by Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj. The right-arm pacer’s length delivery on the off stump produced an edge of Smith’s bat and Pant made a diving effort to complete a brilliant catch.
