Nitish Kumar Reddy pulled off a stunning diving catch in the deep as Varun Chakravarthy sent back Jos Buttler in the first T20I of the five-match series, between India and England, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.
After being hit for a six on the previous delivery, Varun got his revenge in the end, albeit all thanks to Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Varun Chakravarthy fired the ball in short again but it was a tad bit quicker than before. The ball was also angled into the batter’s body as Jos Buttler was hurried, He looked to pull the ball off the back foot but ended ends up pulling it over square leg as Reddy charged in from the deep.
He five in front to take a fine low catch with both hands. The umpires were not sure but replays confirmed that it was a clean catch.

Indian bowlers produced a clinical performance to bowl England out for 132.
The Mystery spinner Varun was the most successful Indian bowler with three wickets as Arshdeep Singh (2/17), Axar Patel (2/22) and Hardik Pandya (2/42) chipped in with two wickets apiece after captain Suryakumar Yadav invited England to bat first.
For England, captain Buttler played a lone hand with 68 off 44 balls while Harry Brook and Jofra Archer contributed 17 and 12 respectively. All the other England batters struggled, scoring in single-digit figures.
