Yashasvi Jaiswal took a fine catch at gully to send Marnus Labuschagne back to the pavilion on the second day of the second Test.
Star India batter Virat Kohli thoroughly enjoyed Marnus Labuschagne’s dismissal which was evident with his ‘finger on the lip’ celebration on Day 2 of the Adelaide Test against Australia.
In the 55th over of the innings, the Labuschagne, batting on 64, attempted a cut off Nitish Kumar Reddy’s delivery. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal at gully pulled off a superb catch to put an end to the Aussie batter’s innings.
The wicket sparked an electric celebration from Kohli who immediately hugged his 22-year-old India teammate.
The ex-skipper then put his finger on his lips before pointing towards the crowd.
Several fans have now reacted to Virat Kohli’s celebration on X. One of them wrote, “Slowly he is back, vintage Virat Kohli.”
One fan claimed that the Indian batter aimed the celebration towards Labuschagne: “Kohli was silencing Labuschagne.”
Another added, “Watching Virat Kohli fired up in Test cricket is like witnessing a blockbuster movie.”

Another simply commented, “King.”
Reddy sent bowled it short and wide with Labuschagne slashing it. The ball hit the edge of the bat before flying towards Jaiswal who timed his jump perfectly.
The dismissal was crucial as Labuschange was batting with immense patience to frustrated Indian bowlers. His exit left Austrlaia at 168/4, keeping India in the game.
The pressure was eventually lifted by Travis Head who scored yet another century against the two-time World Test Championship finalists.
The 30-year-old needed just 111 deliveries to complete his ton and helped Australia take a good lead over India.
