Batting superstar Virat Kohli recently turned 36 and will next be seen in action during the Australia tour.
Virat Kohli was treated to a warm birthday song during a public event. The batting maestro turned 36 earlier this week. During the event, the host reminded the crowd that the former India captain celebrated his birthday recently and asked them if they would want to sing a song to wish him.
The fans enthusiastically obliged.
Kohli, sporting a suave brown outfit, appeared a little shy as he smiled, waved to the fans before requesting them to stop. “That’s enough,” he said.
A user on social media seemed to have been impressed by Kohli’s warm personality: “What a guy. Humble, kind and also down to earth man,” the fan wrote.
Another wrote, “Happy Birthday King Kohli.”
“He got so shy,” observed a user.
Kohli will have his eyes set on the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which begins later this month. Kohli will be looking to improve his form after struggling in the recent New Zealand series, where India suffered a 0-3 whitewash at home. The former India captain will be focused on helping his side qualify for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
