Gujarat Giants picked up Simran Shaikh for Rs 1.9 crore at the Women’s Premier League 2025 auction in Bengaluru on Sunday.
The 22-year-old middle-order batter from Mumbai had starred in the Senior Women’s T-20 Trophy.
Simran Shaikh does have WPL experience, having played nine games during the WPL 2022-23 season for the UP Warriorz after she was acquired for INR 10 lakh at the inaugural WPL auction.
