Royal Challengers Bengaluru Player Retention Update: Check out the full list of retained players announced by the defending WPL champion RCB today.
The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have announced their retentions ahead of the 2025 season of the Women’s Premier League on Thursday.
The 2024 champions have decided to keep a majority of their squad from last year, with 14 players being retained for the new season. Smriti Mandhana will once again lead the franchise yet again.
The side have also made a trade with Dani Wyatt being roped in from the UP Warriorz as well.
Six players have also been released which includes one overseas player, Nadine de Klerk being let go.
Looking at the squad, RCB are lacking in that one lead pacer to partner Renuka Singh and Ellyse Perry in the fast-bowling department, it would be likely that they would pursue that one pacer to complete what looks like a similar squad to last year’s campaign.
