In a tragic incident, a young man died of a heart attack while playing cricket in the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district of Maharashtra. The deceased cricketer was Imran Sikandar Patel.
Patel, who suddenly collapsed while playing, was immediately admitted to a private hospital, but the doctor declared him dead.
A match was under way between the Lucky Builders And Developers and Young XI at the Garware Cricket Stadium. Patel, captain of the Lucky team, hit two dignified fours in the sixth over.
Afterwards, Patel said to the umpires, “My neck and hand are hurting. I will go outside and get a medicine pill.” He was advised to take care of his health and go to the hospital immediately.
Immediately upon leaving the field, Patel collapsed near the boundary. His fellow players rushed to his aid, and he was immediately admitted to hospital.
Patel, a promising young cricketer from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city, tragically passed away following a match at the Garware Stadium. After hitting the winning boundary on the last ball of the game, Patel experienced sudden chest pain. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, he died within minutes.
