The three Punjab Kings teammates are reportedly set to appear in the upcoming ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of the Indian reality TV show which will be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was recently spotted with Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh. Amid divorce rumours with Dhanashree Verma, the 34-year-old bowler was photographed alongside his Punjab Kings teammates on the sets of Big Boss 18. The three cricketers are reportedly set to appear in the upcoming ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of the Indian reality TV show which will be hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
A fan page has now shared a photograph of the trio on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Indian Cricketers Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal and Shashank Singh in the Bigg Boss 18 set for Weekend Ka Vaar shoot with Salman Khan.”
Chahal was initially seen arriving at the Big Boss 18 set in a car. The India spinner was rocking a stylish black T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and shiny yellow sneakers. He quietly waved at the paparazzi before making his way inside. Viral Bhayani shared the video of his arrival in a post on Instagram. Moments later, Chahal was seen in a different look as he posed for the cameras. The 34-year-old was wearing cargo pants and a white jacket while standing beside Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh. The trio were seen chuckling when the photographers asked them for candid shots.
Chahal has been making headlines over his personal life lately. Chahal and his wife Dhanashree are allegedly looking to part ways which has resulted in a lot of chatter on social media. Chahal had recently issued a statement online about the divorce speculations on an Instagram story. The India spinner abstained from naming anyone in his statement as he addressed the curiosity around his personal life. Chahal claimed that the speculations had caused a lot of pain to him and his loved ones.
“As a son, a brother and a friend, I humbly request everyone not to indulge in these speculations, as they have caused immense pain to me and my family,” the spinner wrote.
Dhanashree also addressed online trolls amid the separation rumours on Instagram.
“The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What’s truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact-checking and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate,” she wrote in a now-expired story.
“I choose to focus on my truth and move forward, holding onto my values,” Dhanashree added.
Chahal is one of India’s most successful bowlers in T20I cricket. He won the ICC T20 World Cup with the Men in Blue last year and will represent the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League this year. As for the divorce rumours, neither Chahal nor Dhanashree have officially confirmed the talks.
