Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan 1st T20I Live Streaming Details: Afghanistan’s tour of Zimbabwe is scheduled to start from Wednesday, December 11. The tour will kick off with an ODI series. The ODI series opener will take place at the Harare Sports Club. The hosts will feature in the T20I series under the captaincy of Sikandar Raza while the ODI squad will be led by Craig Ervine. For Zimbabwe, left-hand batter Ben Curran and left-arm seamer Newman Nyamhuri earned their maiden call-ups to the squad for the T20I and ODI series against the Afghanistan cricket team. Ben, who has been in sublime form in the Pro50 List A competition and the first-class Logan Cup competition, was called up only for the ODI series against Afghanistan.
Newman Nyamhuri has also been in fine form, showcasing his talent earlier this year at the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, held in South Africa. In that competition, he had emerged as Zimbabwe’s leading wicket-taker having bagged eight scalps. Ben Curran, Nyamhuri and pacer Victor Nyauchi, replaced Faraz Akram, Brandon Mavuta and Clive Madande in the ODI squad for Zimbabwe.
The Afghanistan cricket team will enter the T20I series having claimed a 2-1 ODI series win against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe will head into the tour having conceded a series defeat to Pakistan.
The second and third T20I of the series, between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan, is scheduled to be played on December 13 and 14 respectively. Following the completion of the T20Is, the two teams will be involved in three ODIs and a two-match Test series. The white-ball matches of the tour will be played in Harare. The two Tests will take place in Bulawayo.
